Frequently Asked Questions
FAQ

1) Am I guaranteed to reach my goals if I do Personal Training sessions with you in New York?

So far 100% of the clients that were motivated, and followed all my instructions and advice reached their goals. The only clients who didn't improve enough are the ones who trained only once a week, and always negotiate to do less repetitions and lighter weights during our workouts. I usually tell these clients that I can not work with them anymore because I prefer to give my time to someone very motivated and hard worker.

2) Are your workouts very hard?

I usually like to do a cycle of 1 easy workout, 1 medium, 1 hard, 1 medium.

I always adjust the intensity and the amount of reps based on your body language and what you were able to do previously (I always take notes). My goal is to always challenge you to your best in a safe way. If I see your form is getting dangerous, I will stop you right away and adjust the exercise.

3) Will you help me with the diet?

Yes of course!

I am not the kind of trainer who believes in very strict dieting. I don't have the cleanest diet myself, and I'm definitely a bad example for my clients. But my goal is to make a few strategic replacements like switching potatoes with sweet potatoes, white rice with brown rice, cow milk with almond milk, eating only one bun of the burger.

I will find tasty and healthy alternatives for you.

4) What’s your personal training style like for high-performing men in NYC?

I’m no b.s, focused, fun, and all about results.

I tailor each workout to your unique needs, mixing up 9 coaching methods to offer you a taylor made program.

5) What if I have back, knee, or shoulder injuries? Can you still coach me?
Absolutely. Having dealt with over 100 injuries myself, I’ve learned how to train safely around pain while still driving progress. My NYC clients with old injuries trust me to adjust workouts precisely and also help them rehab.

6) Do you travel to my gym in Manhattan, or do you have your own private training studio in NYC?
I travel to clients throughout Manhattan (below 70th St, down to Wall Street) and can train you in your building’s gym or one of my 20+ partner gyms across NYC, including spots near Grand Central, Bryant Park, Soho, Tribeca and Hudson Yards. My priority is making it convenient for you.

7) Can you integrate longevity and biohacking strategies into my workout program in New York?
Since 2020 I have been studying deeply Biohacking and Longevity, in order to become the most valuable possible to my clients. We will put in place biohacking protocols and advanced recovery techniques to support your long-term health. My NYC clients love that I focus on the bigger picture of health, not just getting them a 6-pack and bigger biceps.

8) Do you coach women?

I am specialized in coaching highly successful men over 35, but sometimes can make an exception and take female clients. I was coaching Kari Pearce on her running for example, and she became the fittest woman in America 4 years in a row, and was on the podium of the CrossFit Games.

9) Do you coach couples or group classes in NYC?

I coach many couples, mostly gay couples and I love the LGBTQ community!

I do not give big group classes, this isn't my expertise, but sometimes I can gather a few of my clients for a joint session and make them compete with each other.

10) I heard you’re the best personal trainer in New York, why do clients say that?

Of course this doesn't mean much, because its a subjective statement.
But the combination of my achievements, my level of expertise, and the results of my clients is unmatched and extremely rare.

To understand better why, keep visiting my website!

11) Can I bring you at my Equinox gym or similar big gyms in NYC?

Funny you ask, because I was interviewed by Equinox in 2015, and they didn't want to hire me because I didn't have the Green card at the time (I am now a proud American citizen!). Equinox gyms won't allow external personal trainers to coach their clients in their gym, but do not worry, I have access to 20+ gyms all around Manhattan and can offer a logistical solution to pretty much anyone.

12) What’s your approach to training older clients in New York City?
For the elderly clients over 60, I take a safety-first approach, and focus on a longevity program that will add years to their life expectancy and also increase their health span as soon as possible.

We will fight sarcopenia (muscle loss due to aging), strengthen their cardiovascular abilities, improve their mobility, increase their bone density, and help them prevent falls.
